What is web hosting?
Once you’ve registered your domain name (eg. @yourdomain.co.za) it’s likely that you’ll want an email address on the same domain (eg. bob@yourdomain.co.za, sarah@yourdomain.co.za, and so on). You’ll need a web hosting package on that domain. With a web hosting package you’ll be able to have your own website (www.yourdomain.co.za) too.
What package should I choose?
The web hosting package you choose depends entirely on your individual requirements. Choose from a range of personal web hosting packages, from R19 per month.
For R19 per month you’ll get one email account and sufficient space for a website. If you need more email accounts — for Bob, Sarah, Jane and James, for example —then choose the Personal Lite package, which offers five email accounts. One web hosting package connects your entire family, with one to spare.
