To configure your POP email account on Outlook 2007
Open Outlook 2007
1. Click Tools
2. Click Account Settings
3. Click New
4. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP
5. Tick Manually configure server settings or additional server types
6. Click Next
7. Select Internet E-mail
8. Enter the details as required, take note of the following fields
8.1 Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomainname
8.2 Outgoing mail server: Depends on your ADSL provider. You may try smtp.saix.co.za, smtp.isdsl.co.za. You can confirm with your ADSL provider
8.3 Username: Your full email address
8.4 Password: Your email address password
9. Tick Remember password
10. Click Next
11. Click Finish
NOTE: DO NOT USE MAIL.YOURDOMAINNAME AS YOUR OUTGOING MAIL SERVER
